Kindly do not self administer. How Aacef T Injection works Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria. Aacef T Injection related warnings Alcohol CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. Lactation CAUTION Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection should be used with caution during breatfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. Driving UNSAFE Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR There is limited information available on the use of Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor. Liver CAUTION Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Dose adjustment of Aacef T 500mg/62.5mg Injection is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
