It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive. Abinem Injection related warnings Alcohol CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Abinem 1000 mg Injection. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Abinem 1000 mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. Lactation SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Abinem 1000 mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Driving SAFE Abinem 1000 mg Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive. Kidney CAUTION Abinem 1000 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Abinem 1000 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advised while you are taking this medicine. Liver SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Abinem 1000 mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Abinem 1000 mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
