Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Abizole-D Capsule is to be taken empty stomach. Take it preferably 30 minutes before food. How Abizole-D Capsule works Abizole-D Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Rabeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Abizole-D Capsule related warnings Alcohol UNSAFE It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Abizole-D Capsule Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition. Pregnancy CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR Abizole-D Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Lactation CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR Abizole-D Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Driving UNSAFE Abizole-D Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney CAUTION Abizole-D Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Abizole-D Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Liver CAUTION Abizole-D Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Abizole-D Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Abizole-D Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
