Initially, it may cause side effects such as stomach pain, bloating, and gas, but these get better with time.

How to use Acarcip Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acarcip 25 Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Acarcip Tablet works
Acarcip 25 Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication. It inhibits an enzyme that helps in conversion of carbohydrates to glucose. This slows down carbohydrate digestion/absorption thereby preventing increase in blood glucose after meals.

Alcohol
UNSAFE
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Acarcip 25 Tablet Taking acarbose with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.
Pregnancy
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Acarcip 25 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Lactation
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Acarcip 25 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving

Acarcip 25 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Acarcip 25 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Acarcip 25 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Acarcip 25 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Acarcip 25 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Acarcip 25 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Acarcip 25 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
What if you miss a dose of Acarcip Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Acarcip 25 Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
