Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Accept-XL Tablet is to be taken with food. This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn. How Accept-XL Tablet works Accept-XL Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Diacerein which relieve muscle and joint pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Diacerein is a proteoglycan synthesis stimulator which blocks the chemicals that cause inflammation and pain and helps in the building of cartilage (the soft connective tissue in the bones near the joints) in the body. Accept-XL Tablet related warnings Alcohol UNSAFE It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Accept-XL Tablet Taking aceclofenac with alcohol may increase risk of stomach bleeding. Pregnancy CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR Accept-XL Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Lactation CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR Information regarding the use of Accept-XL Tablet during lactation is not available. Please consult your doctor. Driving UNSAFE Accept-XL Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Accept-XL Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Accept-XL Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Liver UNSAFE Accept-XL Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
