Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Accetiz P 100 mg/500 mg/2 mg Tablet is to be taken with food. This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn. How Accetiz P Tablet works Accetiz P 100 mg/500 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination of two pain relievers (Aceclofenac, Tizanidine)and a muscle relaxant (Paracetamol/Acetaminophen). The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and improve movement of muscles. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Accetiz P Tablet related warnings Alcohol UNSAFE It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Accetiz P 100 mg/500 mg/2 mg Tablet Taking Aceclofenac+Paracetamol/Acetaminophen+Tizanidine with alcohol can cause liver damage. Pregnancy CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR Accetiz P 100 mg/500 mg/2 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Kidney CAUTION Accetiz P 100 mg/500 mg/2 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Accetiz P 100 mg/500 mg/2 mg Tablet may be needed.
