Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. Take it preferably 30 minutes before food. How Accurate Tablet works Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Ranitidine, which relieves symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Ranitidine is an H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Accurate Tablet related warnings Alcohol UNSAFE It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet Alcohol use can increase acid secretion, acid reflux in food pipe causing heartburn and decreasing effect of this drug. Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet can also decrease alcohol breakdown and increase its level in blood. Pregnancy CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Lactation SAFE IF PRESCRIBED Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Driving UNSAFE Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Kidney CAUTION Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Accurate 10 mg/150 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
