Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Acefe-MR Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. How Acefe-MR Tablet works Acefe-MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medicines. They act as analgesics (pain reliever). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm without a reduction in strength. This improves pain and movement of muscles. This is how it works to treat muscle pain. Acefe-MR Tablet related warnings Alcohol UNSAFE It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Acefe-MR Tablet Taking Aceclofenac+Chlorzoxazone+Paracetamol/Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage. Pregnancy CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR Information regarding the use of Acefe-MR Tablet during pregnancy is not available. Please consult your doctor. Lactation CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR Information regarding the use of Acefe-MR Tablet during lactation is not available. Please consult your doctor. Driving CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR It is not known whether Acefe-MR Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. Kidney CAUTION Acefe-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Acefe-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Acefe-MR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Liver UNSAFE Acefe-MR Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
